RRB NTPC 2020 Notification:

Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) has released Official Notification for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019-2020 exam on 28th February 2019. Through this recruitment process, RRB will recruit 35,208 vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories). Candidates who have minimum Educational Qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and searching for a government job in Indian Railway can appeared within the Railway NTPC 2020 Recruitment Exam.

RRB NTPC Exam Date 2020:

The official exam dates for RRB NTPC 2020 Stage I Exam has not been released by RRB yet. consistent with the official, the Railway board is probably going to conduct the NTPC recruitment exam within the coming months. The Vacancies for RRB NTPC Exam 2020 are revised to 35,208, deducting the amount of DLW vacancies from RRB Allahabad zone. The DLW vacancies under RRB ALLAHABAD has been cancelled. Hence, the general vacancies for RRB Allahabad has been decreased from 4099 to 4030.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2020: RRB NTPC Selection Process:

The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS40%, OBC (Non creamy layer) -30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them

  • The exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes.
  • Negative marking of 1/3 is there.
  • The level of questions will be different for different level of posts.
  • Normalization of marks will be done.

RRB NTPC Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
(Only for candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master)

(i) Qualifying marks: The candidates got to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify.
(ii) This is applicable to all or any candidates regardless of community or category and no relaxation within the minimum T- Score is permissible.
(iii) Candidates will need to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the post of SM/TA.
(iv) The CBAT shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi.
(v) There shall be no negative marking in CBAT.
(vi) Merit list are going to be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying within the CBAT, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained within the 2nd Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in CBAT.


Typing Skill Test (TST)

(i) Qualifying in nature.
(ii) Eight times the amount of vacancies are going to be involved typing test.
(iii) The candidates should be ready to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on pc only without editing tools and spell check facility.

Document Verification (DV)

Based on the performance of candidates in 2nd Stage CBT and supported the performance of candidates in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable), candidates adequate to the amount of vacancies are going to be involved Document Verification as per their merit and options.

RRB NTPC Syllabus for Stage I CBT

The total number of 100 questions are going to be asked within the Stage I exam of RRB NTPC. The Syllabus of RRB NTPC Stage I exam gis given below. CBT The Questions are going to be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to incorporate questions pertaining to:
